Samaritan House holds events throughout the year to raise funds needed to provide services to low income people living within our service area. Additionally, some area organizations hold events and then donate proceeds to Samaritan House. This page highlights our annual events.
10th Annual Pasta Dinner
The evening is a fun-filled family affair. Guests enjoy great food and entertainment. Thank you to all who make this possible! We are blessed by the generosity of the community, and could not have an event like this without our volunteers, sponsors, donors and those who come to eat! All profits help stock our pantry shelves for up to two months!
2018 Fashion, Flowers and Food Fête Netted $7,700 on Behalf of Our Clients!
We couldn’t have accomplished this success without the support of the community, our sponsors and dedicated volunteers! This was $500 more than last year, however, we dream big. Our goal was to raise $10,000. The Mitt.TV generously offered to make up the difference! Thanks to Ruth Heidebreicht of The Mitt.TV for her community spirit and dedication to fighting local hunger! Thanks to the whole community for continuing to support Samaritan House and a special thanks to Richard Tapper for hosting us at his beautiful gardens!
2019 Fashion & Food at the Orchards!
This event took on a new name and location for 2019! Fashion & Food at the Orchards took place on June 9th at Westview Orchards, 65075 Van Dyke, Washington, MI. We had a great turn-out and lots of fun! The event raised more than $9,800 to help keep our pantry shelves stocked! Thank you to our sponsors, donors, volunteers and all who attended! Also, a big thanks to Westview Orchards for hosting the event!
