How Can I Help?

Donate Pantry Items

Pantry Needs:

Thank you to all who continue to donate non-perishable items in our donation bins. Just a friendly reminder that we can only accept foods that haven't expired and they must have expiration dates printed on them (otherwise they have to be discarded).

Just a reminder:
No glass containers, and standard size items are preferred. Thank you!

We have many clients who need sugar-free, gluten-free and low sodium foods. Children's snacks are always appreciated.

If you can donate any of these items, please bring them to Samaritan House during business hours or to any of these convenient locations: Graubner Library, Kezar Library and Fifth Third Bank on Van Dyke in Romeo.

We appreciate any non-perishable food items, paper products, cleaning supplies or toiletries that you can donate. Thank you!

Making Change Canister

Local businesses support our efforts by displaying Samaritan House Making Change canisters.
The canister is placed in a prominent position near the cash register for customers to drop in coins after making their purchase.

Deliver Groceries to the Home-bound!

Did you know that Samaritan House delivers groceries to 25 or more local home-bound residents each month?

Deliveries take place on the last two Wednesdays of each month.
It takes 1-2 hours. We are always looking for drivers!

If you can help, contact Judy at samaritanhouse@sbcglobal.net or (586) 336-9956.
